What is Reiki?

Japanese technique to stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.

Reiki is the spiral energy of life. It helps to connect the person with the emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of ones being. 
Often a person is so depleted due to various traumas and Reiki helps to give internal support to assist the person in going beyond their
resistance. Reiki is experienced in a myriad of ways. Sometimes it is experienced as love, peace, relaxation, altered states, warmth, cold
 or tingling. Reiki brings us closer to our original state of order. The illnesses or die "eases" developed as the end product of deep, long
acting forces (toxins). Reiki brings energy to create a state of unity. It reaches the cells and encourages our natural and our innate healing
wisdom to become activated. Reiki supports the natural ability to hear by vitalizing the body and soul, reestablishing a spiritual equilibrium
and mental well being, balancing the emotional and physical aspects of us, loosens blocks, facilitales relaxation, and cleanses toxins. 

How Reiki heals

We are alive because life energy or chi is flowing through us. It flows within the physical body through pathways called charkras, meridians and
nadis. It also flows around us in a field of energy called the  aura. It is Chi that animates the physical organs and tissues as it flows through them.
Chi nourishes the organs and cells of the body, supporting them in their vital functions. When the flow of Chi is disrupted , it diminishes the functioning
of the physical body.

Chi is affected by thoughts and feelings. Positive thoughts increases our Chi and negative one disrupt , diminish it, and create blockages in our bodies
This happens consciously and subconsciously.

When a person receives a Reiki treatment the Rei or God-Conscious parts of the energy assesses where the person has blocks and then directs the healing
energy, Reiki raises the vibratory level in and around the physical body where the negative thoughts and feelings are attached. This causes the negative
energy to break apart and fall away. In so doing, Reiki clears, straightens and heals the energy pathways, thus allowing healthy Ki to flow in a natural way.
Once Chi is flowing naturally, the physical organs and tissues then able to complete their healing process.
