Tonight, I received a message from spirit to share with you.
Do you struggle with your weight and constantly trying to "lose" weight? Well... the message is STOP focusing on the scale and start focusing on being the BEST version of yourself.
Four questions to ask yourself:
1. Are you eating small frequent balance meals throughout the day?
2. Are you lifting weights that are challenging your muscles?
3. Are you drinking enough water throughout the day?
4. Are you on STRESS overload?
If you answered YES to all 4 questions then maybe it's time to reevaluate your plan.
How frequently do you change up your workouts?
What do you do to let go of STRESS?
How frequently do you keep a food and water journal?
For me, being the best version of myself means moving with ease, being physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritual strong and maintaining a healthy body fat.
This photo was taken June, 2014 at The NPC Atlantic State Body Building Competition. Prior to this show I have not competed in about 10 years.
I did not feel I was at my BEST but I trained hard, ate clean and went for it anyway.
This is the BEST version of myself. I was please with the results.
As you continue your transformation journey, I strongly recommend you take photos every month to see how your progress is going.
Remember the only person you need to impress is YOURSELF.
Be the BEST version of you.
